Accessing and Customizing Settings

Select Tools > Options... from the Menu bar.

In the Options dialog box, select a category in the tree to the left then:

• Select the tab corresponding to the options to be customized.

  Help	access to the online help and to the user companion
  Shareable Products	acquisition and release of shareable product licenses
  Licensing	reservation of configuration and product licenses
  Cache	cache management
  File	conversion of file names to upper case
  File Access Mode	access mode management (files or DLNames)
  Find	search settings
  Incident Management	online collection of information which can help to analyze system crashes
  Local Save	auto exit, backup, and planned exit
  Macros	macro development environment
  PCS	performance and scalability
  PLM Batches	statistics options for PLM batches
  Printers	printer directories and groups, paths to external drivers
  Search Order	Linked Document Localization
  Statistics	general statistics and statistic thematics list

• Or, alternatively, select a sub-category in the tree to the left to access specific tabs.

  File-based Design Import
  Compatibility
  Parameters and Measure
  Immersive Virtuality

Set these options in the tabs according to your needs.

Click OK to save your settings.
