Resource Sets, Tables and Files

This section lists the Fluid Systems Design resource sets and the contents of their associated resource tables. These resource sets are accessed and managed using Project Resource Management.

In each table, example resource files are shown. These examples are taken from the sample resource files installed by default. You can choose to use these resource files or to provide your own.

  • The Resource Type of all these items is Sheet. The following resource file formats can be imported: csv, txt, xls, xlsm, xlsx.
  • Each item can have one or more than one resource sub item. When more than one sub item exists, use the Criteria field to distinguish between the items. For example, if sub item A Criteria is set to Pipe Specification = SS150R, sub item B Criteria might be set to Pipe Specification = SS300R.

  • Part Catalog and Part Chapter are mutually exclusive; only assign a resource file to one or the other (not both).
  • The Resource Type of Part Catalog is Catalog. Resource file format is 3dxml.
  • The Resource Type of Part Chapter is Chapter. Resource file format is 3dxml.
  • The Resource Type of all other items is Sheet. The following resource file formats can be imported: csv, txt, xls, xlsm, xlsx.
  • The Nominal Size, Pipe Specification Definition Table and Insulation Part Definition Table items can have one or more than one resource sub item. When more than one sub item exists, use the Criteria field to distinguish between the items. For example, if sub item A Criteria is set to Standard = SSTLMM, then sub item B Criteria might be set to Standard = ASTL.

Equipment Resources

This section lists the items in the Equipment Resources resource table.

The example resource files in this table are taken from the samples installed by default in the following directory: ..\intel_a\startup\EquipmentAndSystems\Equipment

  • The Resource Type of all these items is Sheet. The following file resource formats can be imported: csv, txt, xls, xlsm, xlsx.
  • In the Subtype Filter box enter Piping when the resource file is for piping equipment. Similarly you can (for example) enter Electrical for electrical equipment subtypes.
