Balloon Bar's Icons

This section describes the types of commands in the Balloon Toolbars. The Balloon bar always pops up at the location of the mouse. During an authoring session, you can perform the action based on your interest by selecting the respective command from the Balloon bar.

Validate creation

This validates the creation and creates the Manikin

Finish

This finishes or creates the activity.

Edit

This displays the wizard panel, which you can edit from.

Cancel

This cancels the command.

Previous/Next

These are used to toggle between the Action and Return phases. Clicking on Next is also an indication to display the intrinsic skills for Return phase. The Previous icon is not available till a Return posture is specified. Next, use this icon to move to the next phase.

Note: The Previous/Next icons is useful when Create Put activity is integrated with the automatic determination of intrinsic basic skills for the preparation and return phase enhancements.

Add a Human Interface

Regrasp

This is used to change the grasp of the hand(s). An offset is introduced between the hand(s) and the human interface.

This is used to change the posture of the manikin by retaining the constraint between the hand(s) and human interface. In Create Put scenario , manikin might be required to adjust the neck, trunk posture to be able to visualize the final location of the object and still maintain the current grasp & position of the object.

Constraints between the hand and the object is retained with the lock icon. Clicking on the lock icon, changes to unlock state. Then, the constraint between hand and object isn't retained. Click on the hand icon.

Clicking on this icon brings up the Manikin Posture Toolbar

Cumulative Snap

Detach

This detaches the object.

Lock

Shows the constraint is locked.

Unlock

Shows the constraint is unlocked. Selecting this you can activate/deactivate the constraint.

Insert Trajectory Point

This inserts a posture.

Right or Left

Selects Right, or Left hand.

Adds interactions
