In the Engineering Connection Definition dialog box, select the Simulation tab.
In the Connection property list, select the type of connection property you want to create. Select:
- Distant
to create a distant connection property.
- User-defined
to create a user-defined connection property.
- Face face
to create a face face connection property.
- Fastened
to create a fastened connection property.
- Bolt tightening
to create a bolt tightening connection property.
- Spot weld
to create a spot weld connection property.
- Seam weld
to create a seam weld connection property.
- Curve curve weld
to create a curve curve connection property.
- Surface weld
to create a surface weld connection property.
Click Add.
The corresponding dialog box appears to let you define the selected connection property.
Define the connection property, and click OK.
To define a:
A Simulation set that contains
the connection property is created under the engineering connection in the specification tree, and the connection property is listed in the Connection Properties list.
Repeat the previous steps to create other connection properties.
You can add several connection properties to an engineering connection. All the created connection properties are stored under the
Simulation set in the specification tree. A Simulation set is created under each engineering connection to which you added connection properties.
Click OK in the Engineering Connection Definition dialog box.
