Creating an Analysis Scenario

In the Scenarios toolbar, click Analysis Scenarios .

The Analysis Scenario dialog box appears.

Select the scenario type you want to create.

• To create a static scenario, select Static. A dedicated command also exists. See Creating Static Scenarios.
• To create a frequency scenario, select Frequency. A dedicated command also exists. See Creating Frequency Scenarios.
• To create a free frequency scenario, select Free frequency. See Defining a Free Frequency Scenario.
• To create a loaded frequency scenario, select Loaded frequency. See Defining a Loaded Frequency Scenario.
• To create a buckling scenario, select Buckling. See Defining Buckling Scenarios.
• To create a harmonic dynamic scenario, select Harmonic dynamic. See Defining Harmonic Dynamic Scenarios.
• To create a transient dynamic scenario, select Transient dynamic. See Defining Transient Dynamic Scenarios.

Click OK.

The scenario definition dialog box corresponding to the selected scenario is displayed automatically. You have to define the excitations and the parameters of the scenario.
