Creating Result Images

You can create result images to visualize the results of your simulation. Result images are stored under the selected solution in the Result object in the specification tree. Predefined images also exist.

Before you begin: At least one scenario must be computed and the associated result must be generated.

  1. Select the desired solution result under Result in the specification tree, and click Generate Images .

Tip: You can also right-click a solution result, and select Generate Images.

The Generate Images dialog box appears. See Generating Images.

  2. In the Available Images list, select one or several images. See Available Images.

  3. Click OK.

The images are automatically generated. In the following example, four images have been generated. They are superimposed:

The features of the newly generated images appear in the specification tree under the selected solution result:

For the frequency scenarios, the mode shapes are arbitrarily normalized displacements. In this case, the images of stress and energy results give only tendencies related to these mode shapes.
