Locating Reference/Resulting Views

You can navigate between auxiliary views, section views and section cuts and their reference callout views.

This task shows you how to:


Before you begin:
  • Open a 3D shape representation containing a layout. Double-click a sheet in the specification tree to open the layout in the 2D window.
  • Create a section view, section cut or auxiliary view with a callout.

Locate a Reference View

You can locate a reference view. This is often useful in a crowded layout.

  1. Right-click the resulting view (auxiliary view, section cut or section view).



  2. Select Locate Reference View.

    The application window is reframed on the view where the view callout is defined.
