Accessing and Customizing Settings

You can access and customize settings for the Finite Element Modeling workbench.

  1. Select Tools > Options... from the menu bar.

    The Options dialog box appears.

  2. Select the Simulation category in the left-hand box.

    The options for simulation settings appear, organized in tabs.

  3. Select the tab corresponding to the options to be customized.

    General settings for the management of the visualization of simulation data
    FE Model settings for finite element model representation
    Graphics settings for mesh display
    Quality settings for quality mesh criteria
    Images settings for post processing images
    Reporting settings for report files

  4. Set these options according to your needs.

  5. Click OK to save the settings and exit the Options dialog box.
