Creating Points

You can create a point by clicking anywhere in the geometry using the Point by Clicking command. You can specify the exact location of this point in Sketch tools toolbar.

Before you begin:

Ensure that Dimensional Constraints is activated in the Sketch tools toolbar.

  1. Click Point by Clicking in the Profile toolbar (Point sub-toolbar).

  2. Click anywhere in the geometry area or if you know where the point must be located, use the Sketch tools toolbar which now displays values for defining the point.

  3. For the start point, type in the Sketch tools toolbar : H=24 mm, V=22 mm and press Enter. The point is created accordingly.



    Tip: : Constraints are assigned to this point on the condition that you previously activated Dimensional Constraints in the Sketch tools toolbar.
