You can define operations and operation parameters of a Buffer system.
This task shows you how to:
You can define the Buffer system operations either in Live System Editor or PPR Context.
Right-click Buffer system in Live System Editor or PPR Context and select Define Operations .
The Define Operations dialog box appears.
Click Close to close the dialog box.
You can remove and add a Buffer operation.
Select a Buffer operation that you wish to remove.
Click Add/Remove button to remove an operation.
The selected Buffer operation is removed.
Select a process in PPR Context and click Add/Remove button to add a Buffer operation.
A Buffer operation gets created with default parameters and the selected process is linked to the created Buffer operation.
You can define system properties.
Click System Properties .
The System Properties dialog box appears.
Specify the maximum number of products can be stored in the system at any time as Capacity.
Specify the order in which products are routed of the system as queuing mode.
Make necessary changes and click OK .
Click to close the dialog box.
You can show and hide the Associated Process column.
The Process column appears in the Define Operations dialog box.

You can edit and view the Buffer system operation parameters in Define Scenario Input Parameters dialog box.
Click Edit Scenario Inputs in Edit Scenario sub-toolbar and select a Buffer system.
