Creating Deformed Mesh Images

You can generate deformed mesh images under a solution result. Deformed mesh images are used to visualize the finite element mesh in the deformed configuration of the system.

Before you begin: The solution must be computed and the solution result must exist.

  1. Select the solution result.

  2. In the Pre-defined Image toolbar, click Deformation .

    The deformed mesh image is displayed, and Deformed mesh.1 appears in the specification tree under the selected solution result.
