Reconnecting Links and Relations Automatically

You can reconnect links and relations automatically.

Important:

In order to reconnect automatically a link, its pointing component must already exist in database. Otherwise, a manual reconnection will be proposed.

Before you begin: Open an existing product containing 3D shapes with links and relations between them.

Edit Links and Relations Dialog Box

  1. Click Impact .

    The Edit Links & Relations dialog box appears.

  2. Click the Automatic Reconnection .

    Note:

    The Reconnect Assistant dialog box may appear to require additional information.



  3. Select the PLM component desired. The relation is reconnected.

  4. Click the OK in the Reconnect Assistant dialog box.

  5. Click the OK in the Edit Links & Relations dialog box.
