Editing and Deleting Slots

You can edit and delete previously placed slots.

Edit Slots

You can edit the previously defined slots.

  1. Click Slot in the Connection toolbar.

    The Slot dialog box appears.

  2. Select the plate whose slot you want to edit.

    All combinations of Penetrating Elements, Penetrated Elements and Slot are listed in the table.

  3. To modify the slot, follow the same procedure as explained in the Placing Slots topic from step 4.

Note: In case the stiffener location is changed, the slot location is also updated. However, in the graphics area you will still see the square dot indicating the old slot location. You need to update the connection set to update the graphical representation of slot. For more information, refer to Connection Set.

Delete Slots

You can delete previously defined the slots.

  1. Click Slot in the Connection toolbar.

    The Slot dialog box appears.

  2. Select the plate whose slot you want to delete.

    All combinations of Penetrating Elements, Penetrated Elements and Slot are listed in the table.

  3. Right-click the slot and select Delete Slot.

    The slot box changes to None indicating that the slot is deleted.

  4. Click OK to delete the slot.

Note: Even if the slot is deleted, you will see a square dot in the graphics area indicating the slot. You need to update the connection set to update the graphical representation of slot. For more information, refer to Connection Set.
