Exporting a Spreadsheet

You can export a spreadsheet table into a .xls or .csv file.

Working with the Spreadsheet Editor

  1. From the Title area, select Export to File...

    Two commands are expanded.

  2. You can select:

    • Export to .xls
    • Export to .csv

    The spreadsheet table is exported into a .xls or .csv file and directly opened by the convenient editor (usually Microsoft Excel).

  3. Save the file in the convenient folder.

    Tips:
    • The Save action stores the file in a Temp directory. We advise you to perform a Save as to select the convenient directory.
    • Note that by default, the name of the spreadsheet root is proposed in the Save as dialog box.
