Editing a Comment

You cano edit comments on template definitions inputs and parameters.

Before you begin: Either an input or a parameter must be available for selection in the specification tree.

  1. Select either an input or a parameter on which you want the comment to be added.

  2. Either, click on the Define Template Toolbar or in the specification tree, right-click the input or the parameter to be removed and click Edit comment.



    The Comment editor dialog box is displayed.



  3. Type your comment. Click OK to close the Comment editor dialog box.

    Important: Comments are displayed in a tooltip at instantiation time whenever an input or a parameter is selected. For more information on PLM templates instantiation, see List of Commands Available on PLM Templates.
