Build Macros in a Catalog

You can quickly load a macro from the catalog.

  1. In the Macro tab of a Machining Operation:

    1. Click Read Macro from Catalog .
    2. Optional: Right-click a macro and select Load from Catalog in the contexual menu.



    The Immersive Catalog dialog box appears.

  2. Click Open a catalog and select either a catalog from the drop-down list or click More... to search and select the desired one.





  3. Right-click a macro in catalog and select Use Item > Instantiate in the contextual menu to apply the macro to the Machining Operation.



    The Macro tab in the Machining Operation dialog box is initialized with the selected macro.

    Consistency checks are aslo performend to ensure compatibility between macro and Machining Operation.

Save Macro in a Catalog

You can save macro in the catalog.

  1. Click Save macro in catalog .

    1. Optional: Right-click a macro and select Save in Catalog in the contexual menu.



    The Send to Catalog dialog box appears.

  2. In Send to Catalog dialog box:

    • Create a new catalog
    • Update an existing catalog448
    • Search an existing catalog in database with

  3. Click Yes in the warning message to replace the existing macro.

    A warning message appears if a macro with the same name already exists.

  4. Click No in the warning message to add a new macro with same name.



    If the save is successful, "Save in Catalog Successful" message is displayed.
