External Links in PPR (Implement Links)

These links allow navigation between the different PPR entities and impact analysis.

Process Product Implement Link
Link from the Process to the implemented Product. For example, this type of link allows all the Processes implementing a given product to be found (via the Impact Graph).
System Process Implement Link
Link from the system to the implemented Process. For example, this type of link allows all the system data implementing a given process to be found (via the Impact Graph).
Resource System Implement Link
Link from the Resource to the implemented system operations. For example, this type of link allows all the Resources implementing a given system operation to be found (via the Impact Graph).

External Links between Components of the PPR Context

There are three external links between components of the PPR Context for Machining. These links enable navigation between components and versioning of these components.

Link to Setup Assembly
Link between the Part Operation (inside the Machine Logical Rep component) and the Setup Assembly. It specifies that a given the NC File and Additional NC File is related to a given Setup assembly.
Link from Activity to Resource
Link between the Machining Operation (inside the Machine Logical Rep component) and the tool (or the tool assembly if it exists). It specifies which machining resource the Machining Operation uses.
Link to Positioned Geometry
Link between the Machining Operations or machining features (inside the Machine Logical Rep component) and the geometry. It specifies which geometry is related to the Machining Operationss or machining features.
