Identifying Nodes and Elements

You can display the node or element identification for deformed mesh images and the values at nodes or elements for other images.

The text properties of the values at nodes or elements can be customized in the image settings. To learn more, see Text Properties.

Before you begin: An image must be activated.

  1. To display the identification number of each node, pass the cursor over the elements.



  2. To display the values of each node or the values of nodes of each element, pass the cursor over a node or over an element.





  3. To obtain a steady display, select a node or an element.

  4. To obtain a steady display of several node or element values, press the Ctrl key and select the nodes or elements.
