Activating and Deactivating Images

You can deactivate an image to destroy its screen representation, and activate the image later to regenerate its screen representation. The Activate/Deactivate capability is useful with a large size model to improve your computer performance.

The Hide/Show contextual menu allows you to move the selected element to the invisible space. You can visualize and modify elements you have hidden (using the Hide/Show contextual menu) in the invisible space (as a second workspace). To work in the invisible space and display the hidden elements, click Swap Visible Space.

Activate Image

You can activate one or several images.

  1. Right-click the image you want to activate.

    An image is deactivated if the symbol is displayed in the specification tree.

    Tip: You can select several deactivated images to activate them at once.

  2. Select Activate/Deactivate .

    If the image belongs to:

    • An updated entity, the image is activated.
    • A non updated entity, a warning message appears to inform you that the entity needs to be updated.

    An entity can be a mesh, an excitation, a solution...

  3. Optional: In the warning message, click:

    • Yes to launch the update of the entity and so the image is activated. The symbol disappears.
    • No to keep the image deactivated.

Deactivate Images

You can deactivate one or several images.

  1. Right-click the image you want to deactivate.

    Tip: You can select several images to deactivate them at once.

  2. Select Activate/Deactivate .

    The image is deactivated, and the symbol appears in the specification tree.

Deactivate all Images

You can deactivate at once all the activated images of the Scenario category or the Result category.

  • To deactivate all the activated images, click Deactivate all Images .

    All the images are deactivated.
