DesignSight Simulation Objects

DesignSight simulations can be reviewed and modified only in the DesignSight workbench; you cannot open a DesignSight simulation in other simulation workbenches (such as the Structural Analysis workbench).

A DesignSight simulation object can be created in one of two ways:

• A simulation is created when you enter the DesignSight workbench; see Starting a New DesignSight Simulation for details.
• You can create a simulation using the PLM Access > New command.

In both cases, you must indicate the product on which you are performing the simulation; the product must meet the requirements for the simulation method being used.
