Diagnostic Panel

The Diagnostic Panel displays pertinent status, warning, and error messages after you have run a simulation.

Executing Simulations from the DesignSight Workbench

If DesignSight encounters problems while running a simulation, a description of these problems is displayed in the Diagnostic Panel. You can display the Diagnostic Panel at any time by clicking the icon in the Simulation Toolbar. The information in the Diagnostic Panel reflects the most recent run of the simulation.

The Diagnostic Panel groups warning and error messages into expandable regions. Click to expand a region and display more information; click to collapse a region and remove it from the display.

For certain errors, diagnostic images are available. A list of available images appears in an expandable region under the error message. When you click on an image name in the Diagnostic Panel, the model view updates to provide a visual representation of the error.
