Creating a Logic System

You can create a logic system by instantiating simulation logics of leaf resources in an organizational resource.


Before you begin: The System and Device Designer workbench should be opened.

Arranging Editor Layout
  1. Open an organizational resource containing several leaf resources having simulation logics.



  2. Click Create Logic and select the organizational resource.

    An immersive editor containing the block instances of every leaf resources appears.



    Tip: The icons and represent the internal and external ports of the Main block.

    If the ports are structured, there are represented by the following icons and .

    In the Reference Logic tree, you can see the structure of the simulation logic associated to the organizational resource.



  3. You can now map the different instances.

    1. Click Mapping in the Toolbox

      The Mapping commands appear.

    2. Click Standard, select the output Start, then the input ButtonStart.

      A link is created between the two ports.

    3. Click Standard, select the output StartSlider, then the input Start.

      A link is created between the two ports.

    4. You can arrange the layout by moving and resizing the block instances.



  4. Click the editor red cross to close it.

The system logic is ready to be simulated.
