Exporting and Importing a Datacard or Datacardgroup

You need to perform import/export operations for the distribution of datacards/datacardgroups.

Export a Datacard or Datacardgroup

You can export a datacard or datacardgroup using the Export button in the Data Card Administrator dialog box.

  1. Click Open Datacard Administration .

    The Data Card Administrator dialog box appears.

  2. If you want to change the folder proposed in the Datacard Path area, select the desired datacard folder using the Browse button.

    The datacard or datacardgroup will be exported from this folder.

  3. Proceed as follows:

    • Select a datacard then click the Export button in the Datacard area.

      The Export Datacard File dialog box appears:



    • Select a datacardgroup then click the Export button in the Datacard Group area.

      The Export Datacardgroup File dialog box appears.

  4. Select a target folder in the dialog box and click OK.

    The datacard or datacardgroup is copied with the same name in the selected target folder.

Import a Datacard or Datacardgroup

You can import a datacard or datacardgroup using the Import button in the Data Card Administrator dialog box .

  1. Click Open Datacard Administration .

    The Data Card Administrator dialog box appears.

  2. If you want to change the folder proposed in the Datacard Path area, select the desired datacard folder using the Browse button.

    The datacard or datacardgroup will be imported to this folder.

  3. Proceed as follows:

    • Click the Import button in the Datacard area.

      The Import Datacard File dialog box appears:

    • Click the Import button in the Datacard Groups area.

      The Import Datacardgroup File dialog box appears.

  4. Select a datacard or datacardgroup from the dialog box and click Open.

    The datacard or datacardgroup is copied with the same name into the datacard folder. The appropriate list in the Data Card Administrator dialog box is updated.
