Linetype and Thickness Dialog Box

The Linetype and Thickness dialog box allows you to configure linetype and line thickness that will be used for different types of views. This dialog box appears when you click Configure for the View linetype option on the View tab.

It contains controls for linetype and thickness.

Linetype and Thickness

The Linetype and Thickness area contains the following options:

Section view
Select the linetype and the line thickness that will be used for section views.
Detail view
Select the linetype and the line thickness that will be used for detail views.
Broken view
Select the linetype and the line thickness that will be used for broken views.
Breakout view
Select the linetype and the line thickness that will be used for breakout views.
Skin section view
Select the linetype and the line thickness that will be used for skin section views (in the case of wireframes and surfaces).
Important: If you choose the zigzag linetype (linetype #8), note that this linetype is just a graphical dress-up of the view. This means that if one line is relimited on the breakout line, then it will be relimited on the theoretical line as shown here, and not on the visualized zigzag line.
