Creating Mirror Features

You can duplicate a body or a list of features using a symmetry. In this case, a face or a plane can be defined as a mirror reference.

This task shows how to mirror a list of features.

Before you begin: To perform this task, create a pad with a cylinder on top of it.

Creating Symmetries

  1. Multi-select the pad and the pocket as the features to be mirrored.



  2. Click Mirror .

    The Mirror Definition dialog box appears.

  3. Select a pad's lateral face to define the mirror reference.

    The application previews the material to be created.

  4. Click OK to confirm the operation. The pad and the pocket are mirrored and the specification tree indicates that it a mirror feature has been created.
