Inserting an Existing Operation

You can insert an existing operation under a System using Existing Operation in the Operation Authoring toolbar or contextual menu. This can be either an operation from the current session or from the database.

Before you begin: Open your session data and open the Manufacturing System Definition workbench.

  1. Click Existing Operation .

  2. Select the System in the PPR tree where you want to insert one or more operations.



    The Insert Existing Operation dialog box appears.

  3. Select the From Search tab, enter a character string and click Search.

    The corresponding operations present in the database are listed.



    Note: It is also possible to select existing operations from the current session. In that case, select the From Session tab and click Retrieve Loaded Data to display the list of operations.

  4. Select the desired operations in the list and click OK.

The selected existing operations are inserted into the PPR tree.
