  1. In the specification tree, right-click the material domain whose properties you want to modify, and select XXX object > Definition... (where XXX is the name of the object).

Tip: You can also double-click the material domain in the specification tree.

The material domain properties dialog box appears. The material domain properties available in this dialog box vary according to the domain type:

    • Composite properties: see Composites Design User's Guide: Before you start: Defining the Composites Parameters.
    • Simulation properties: see DesignSight User's Guide: Understanding Materials: Defining a Material Simulation Domain.

Rendering and simulation domain properties also include a dedicated tab that lets you modify the PLM properties of the domain. To access the PLM properties for the other domains, right-clicking the domain, and select Properties....

  2. Optional: Modify the properties as necessary.

  3. Click OK.
