Deleting Useless Elements

Useless elements are use-edge inputs which are no longer referenced by any use-edge. You can identify and delete useless use-edge input elements from the active layout in one shot.

Before you begin:
  • Open a 3D shape representation containing a layout with unreferenced use-edge inputs.
  • Open the layout in the 2D window, alongside the 3D window.
  • Go to Tools > Options > Mechanical > 2D Layout for 3D Design, Display tab and make sure Use edge inputs is selected in the Specification Tree area.
