Adding and Visualizing Pictures

You can associate a picture to the Components family and to catalog chapters.

Before you begin: You must have created a Creating a Component Family.

  1. In the Component Family Commands toolbar, click Add pictures to the family. The Add Pictures dialog box is displayed.

  2. Click in the Picture to add field and select the image you want to associate to the family.

  3. Click Open and OK. The image is associated to the family and is displayed below the Pictures node in the tree. By clicking the image, you can see that its preview appears in the Generic Model frame.

  4. To see the picture at its real size, double-click the picture in the specification tree or double-click the image preview in the Generic Model frame.
