Exporting a Recorded Excitation

You can export a recorded excitation to an Excel file and retrieve this file later using the Search function.

Before you begin: A kinematics simulation must be open in the Kinematics Analysis workbench, and you must have created a kinematics scenario using the Kinematics Excitation Recorder command .

  1. Right-click a recorded excitation under the scenario in the specification tree, and select Export.

    The Export dialog box appears.

  2. Optional: In the Name box, modify the name of the recorded excitation.

  3. Click OK.

The values of the recorded excitation are exported in an Excel File. If you propagate the simulation, the Excel file you generated is automatically propagated to the database as an attached document. See Simulations and Documents.
