Creating Explicit Dimensions

You can create a dimension you explicitly decide to be:

  • a length/distance dimension

  • an angle dimension

  • a radius dimension
  • a diameter dimension

Before you begin:
  • By default, the Length/distance dimension, Angle dimension, Radius dimension and Diameter dimension commands are not available in the Annotations toolbar. To make them available, you need to customize the toolbar. Refer to Customizing a Toolbar by Adding Commands for more information.
  • In a drawing representation, create geometry, for example a rectangle containing circles.
