Modifying a Sheet

You can modify a sheet by changing its standard, sheet style and orientation. This means modifying the options you selected when defining the sheet.

Refer to Defining a Sheet for more information on the various options and on what you need to know when defining or modifying a sheet.


Before you begin: Defining a Sheet using the ISO standard, the A0 ISO format, and the Landscape orientation in the New Drawing dialog box.

Creating a Frame and a Title Block
  1. Select PLM Access > Page Setup from the menu bar. The Page Setup dialog box is displayed.



  2. From the Standard area, select the ANSI standard.

    A message informs you that this action cannot be undone.

    The parameters of the chosen standard are copied into the drawing and replace the previous parameters. This may have an immediate impact on the appearance of the elements inside the drawing.

  3. Click OK to continue. From the Sheet Style field, note that the A ANSI sheet style is automatically selected.

  4. Optionally choose another sheet style. The sheet style defines the sheet format, size, scale and default orientation.

    Important: Another way to change the sheet style (also called format) is through the Properties dialog box: to open it, right-click the sheet, and select Properties.

  5. Optional: Change the default orientation from Landscape to Portrait.

  6. Optional: Click the Manage frame and title block button to manage frame and title block.

  7. Click OK to validate and exit the dialog box. The sheet is modified accordingly.
