Applying Blanking on Annotations and Dimensions

You can apply blanking on text (in annotations and dimensions) in order to make them easier to see.


Before you begin: Open an existing 3D shape containing annotations.

Text Properties
  1. Click Annotation Blanking .

    All annotation are blanked.

  2. Right-click a text annotation and select Properties... from the contextual menu.

    1. Select the Text tab in the Properties dialog box.
    2. Set the Blank Background to None. See Options.
    3. Click OK in the Properties dialog box.

    Only this annotation is not blanked.

    Important:

    By default, the Area Fill option is applied in text properties. See Options.
