About User Sets
  1. To create a user set, do the following:

    1. From the specification tree, right-click the object in which the User Set will be created and select Insert User Set.

The user set appears under the selected object in the specification tree. You can create a user set inside an existing user set.

  2. To move an object into a user set, do either of the following:

    • From the specification tree, click the object to move, and drag it to the user set into which the object should be moved. (Press Ctrl to create a copy of the object.)
    • From the specification tree, right-click the object to move, select Move To User Set from the menu that appears, and select the user set into which the object should be moved.

The object is moved into the user set.

  3. To remove an object from a user set, do either of the following:

    • From the specification tree, right-click the object to remove and select Remove From User Set. The object is removed from all user sets and reverts to its original position in the specification tree (under the excitation library or the results of a scenario).
    • From the specification tree, click the object to remove, and drag it to the parent of the user set--an excitation library or the results of a scenario.

  4. To reorder the objects in a user set, do the following:

    1. From the specification tree, right-click the user set to reorder and select Reorder Children.
    2. From the Reorder Children dialog box that appears, select the object to move, and click the up or down arrow to move the object.
    3. When you have finished reordering objects, select OK.

  5. To delete a user set, do the following:

    1. From the specification tree, right-click the user set to delete and select Delete.

The user set is deleted along with any user sets it contained. If the set contained an object, the object is removed from all user sets and reverts to its original position in the specification tree (under excitations or results).

  6. To rename a user set, do the following:

    1. From the specification tree, right-click the set and select Properties. See Accessing Properties in VPM Navigator, for more information.
