Saving an Image As Template

You can save an image you generated and modified as template image. Saving images as template allows you to reuse images you have already set and edited. Template images are stored in an .xml file, and they are available in the the Image Generation dialog box.


Before you begin: At least one image must exist either in the Scenario object or in the Result object.

  1. Right-click an image in the specification tree, and select Save As Template.

    The Save As Template dialog box appears.


    • The Output directory box indicates the path and the directory of the .xml file.
    • The Output file name box indicates the name of the .xml file.
    Important: To modify the path, the directory, and the content of the .xml file, you have to modify the image settings. See Images in the Settings Customization Guide.

  2. Optional: In the Template name box, modify the name of the template image.

  3. Click OK.

    The image you saved as template is now available in the Generate Images dialog box.
