Analyzing Networks

You can check and analyze your electrical network to locate connectivity problems identified, for example, by routing errors or failure.

Before you begin:

Open a product containing an electrical physical system and electrical geometry.

  1. Select Tools > Analyze Network.

  2. Select an electrical geometry or electrical physical system to analyze the associated network.

    The electrical network is highlighted in green. If nothing is selected, a message asks you if you want to analyze the entire network.

    In the geometry area, a broken symbol and associated text, located where the anomaly is detected, inform you of the anomaly. The segment impacted appears in red.

  3. If desired, select another electrical geometry or electrical physical system.
