Linking Protective Coverings

You can link two protective coverings together for information purposes to indicate that they should be handled together.

Link information does not impact the branch route nor the covering geometry.

Important: Protective coverings must be in the same harness bundle.

Before you begin: Have already placed two protective coverings.

Adding a Protective Covering

  1. In the Electrical Part Design workbench, select Insert > Green Line .

  2. In the specification tree, select the two protective coverings you want to link together.

    In the geometry area, two green lines connecting the ends of the two selected protective coverings are added.



    In the specification tree, a Green Line entry is added under the Protection Set.



Note: You cannot edit a green line.
