Applying Temperatures

This task shows you how to apply constant temperatures on your model.

  1. Select a face on the model.

    The temperature will be defined on the entire highlighted region.

    Tip: Use [Ctrl]+[Click] to select multiple faces at once.

  2. In the balloon, select temperature .

  3. To define the temperature value:

    1. Click the existing value.

    2. Type a new value into the text field.

      Note: The temperature value must be greater than 0 kelvin.

    3. Press Enter or click the background of the viewport to commit the value.

  4. To complete the temperature definition:

    • Click the background to commit the temperature, or
    • Click a new face to commit the current temperature and begin a new temperature definition.

  5. To edit a temperature after it has been created, double-click the temperature's glyph in the model. To delete a temperature, click its glyph and press [Delete].

    The Review Panel can also be used to edit or delete temperatures.
