Inserting a Types Library

You can create a Types library as a regular State Logic library, but this library should only contain user-defined types. These types are used to constrain the type of MainBlock signals.


Before you begin: A Functional or Logical representation is opened in the State Logic Modeling workbench.

Defining Types
  1. Click Add Types Library in the Module Management toolbar and select MainBlock in the RFLP tree.

    The Insert a Types Library dialog box appears.



    Reference contains the name of the library. By default, the name of the last library used is pre-selected.

  2. Click Search a Library .

    The dialog box Object Selection is displayed.



  3. You can fill the Search field to filter the search on the library's name.

  4. Click Search.

    All the Library representations are listed.



  5. Select the desired library and click OK.



    The Library is added below MainBlock in the RFLP tree.



  6. Double-click MainSignal in the RFLP tree to open the Block Properties dialog box.

  7. In the drop-down list of the Type column, you can see that the user-defined types of the loaded library are available at the top of the list.



  8. Select a type and click OK.
