Setting up a Virtual Execution

You can define the settings to be applied during a virtual execution.

These settings are applied to the virtual executions that will be performed during the session, and can also be stored in the Modelica model.

  1. From the Component Browser or from the diagram, select a model.

  2. Select Execution Setup from the Virtual Execution toolbar.

    Tip: You can select a model either before or after selecting the command.

    The Execution Setup dialog box appears, organized in tabs.

  3. Select the tab corresponding to the options to be customized.

  4. Set these options according to your needs.

    Tip: These tabs and options are described in Execution Setup Dialog Box.

  5. Optional: You can click

    • Store setup in model: to add this execution setup in the selected model (added in an annotation in the Modelica text).
      Important: The experiment data stored into the model are:
      • Start time, stop time,
      • Integration algorithm, tolerance, fixed step size, output interval,
      • Output selection : variables, grid method, event.
    • Clear setup in model: to remove all execution setup from the selected model (and from the Modelica text).

  6. Click OK to save the settings and exit the Execution Setup dialog box.

    Tip: To reset your modifications and restore the default options, click Reset.
