PLM Versioning

We advise NOT TO USE the PLM Versioning command to version libraries and logical behaviors.

From the Search results window, New Version allows you to manage the PLM versions for your representations and references.

However, the Modelica text also manages the version, within an Annotation (version="1.0") tag. This Modelica version is not modified with the standard PLM versioning command.

To know more about the standard PLM versioning command, you can refer to the Versioning chapter in the VPM Navigator User's Guide.

PLM and Modelica Versioning

Use only this command to version libraries and logical behaviors.

From the Dynamic Behavior Modeling workbench, PLM and Modelica Versioning allows you to manage both:

  • the version of the PLM reference and representation(s)
  • the version of the Modelica text.

Refer to Managing PLM and Modelica Versions.
