Locking and Unlocking a Parameter

You can lock or unlock a parameter so that it is not modified by mistake.

Before you begin: Refer to Sample 3 to create the model required to perform this scenario.

About Parameters

  1. Expand the Parameters node and click a parameter.

  2. In the Knowledge toolbar, click Lock selected parameters... to lock this parameter. The parameter is locked (a lock is displayed next to the parameter in the specification tree.)

  3. To unlock the parameter, select it in the specification tree and click Unlock selected parameters... in the Knowledge toolbar.
