Components Family Business Logic List

Abstract

This article describes the business logic openness (PLM Opening ID) that is available in V6 Architecture and valid only for Components Family Entities Business logic openness integrates customer policy in the system based on PLM public view of a PLM component.

Definition of business logic: it is based on Enterprise Knowledge Language scripting (EKL). Please refer to dedicated documentation for further details. It allows the customer to customize some behaviors by delivering scripts (i.e. CATRuleExit/CATRule files).

Integration of business logic: layers that integrates business logic openness document the PLM Opening ID that are used. please refer to each product documentation to know about business logic openness use if any (e.g. PLM New, Import, applicative UI commands, etc).
