You can edit assembly features


Before you begin: Open an existing assembly containing assembly features.

Assembly Feature Definition Dialog Box
  1. Click Assembly Feature .

    The Assembly Feature Definition dialog box appears.

  2. Select in the specification tree, in the typed-specification representation a 3D shape feature (Hole, Protected Feature, Cut or Add).

    The Assembly Feature Definition dialog box is filled with the affected 3D shapes:

    • Click the feature icon in the Assembly Feature Definition dialog box to edit the feature properties.
    • Click Remove to remove a 3D shape from the affected list.
    • Select a 3D shape from the specification tree or the geometry window to add it in the affected list.
    • Click Rules... to define the affected elements in the 3D shapes: Part Body or Solid Bodies.

  3. Click OK in the Assembly Feature Definition dialog box.

  4. Click Update All to display your modification.
