MTM1

This document explains how to customize MTM1 settings for Standard Time Measurement.

Select the MTM1 tab to access options for:

Common



These options are part of the MTM1 standard time analysis. Set the desired values using the drop-down lists.

By default, the values shown above are used.

Datacard: Copy standard-description

Selecting this option enables you to use the standard description for the datacard.

By default, the check box is selected.

Exact value

Selecting this option calculates the exact value of the analysis.

By default, the check box is not selected.

Interpolate time value

Selecting this option interpolates the time value.

By default, the check box is not selected.

Rules (I)

Rule checking monitoring and Limiting action


When Rule checking monitoring is enabled, MTM rules are checked whenever you click Calculate or OK in an MTM time analysis. If the sequence of activities is implausible per the rules, a window opens notifying you of what needs improvement. Rule checking is applied to the rules selected below, e.g., Final Check or Simultaneous Motion.

By default, the check boxes used to set MTM1 rules for rule checking monitoring and limiting action are selected

If any of the rules below are enabled, and Rule checking monitoring is also turned on, an error notification appears when time analysis is attempted on an operation that does not respect the enabled rule.

Final check



By default, the check box used to set MTM1 rules for final check is selected.

Simultaneous motion



By default, the check boxes used to set MTM1 rules for rule checking monitoring, limiting action, final check and simultaneous motion are selected as shown.

Consecutive motion



By default, the check boxes used to set MTM1 rules for consecutive motion are selected as shown.

Insert code



By default, the check boxes used to set MTM1 rules for inserting code are selected as shown.
