Selecting a Behavior in a Multi-Behavior Model

When several behaviors are inserted in a logical component, you can select or modify the behavior to be executed.

This command is accessible and its behavior is identical from the following workbenches:

  • VPM Functional and Logical Editor
  • System Experiment Manager

Before you begin:
  • Insert several behaviors in a logical component (in a VPM Functional and Logical Editor context)
  • Insert several behaviors in a system experiment (in a System Experiment context)
  1. Select

    • a logical component (within VPM Functional and Logical Editor)
    • a scenario (within System Experiment Manager).

  2. Click Behavior Selection from the Virtual Execution toolbar.

The Behavior Selection dialog box appears. It displays the selected model, with its structure and the mapped behaviors.

Tip: Filter the result using the Hide inactive node hierarchy and Hide branches without behavior options.

  3. From the Behavior and/or Context Behavior combo box, select the convenient behavior.

The corresponding behaviors are selected in the tree view.

  4. Click OK to close the dialog box and save your new behavior mapping selection.

You can now execute your model.
