Deleting a Resource-System Scope

You can delete the resource definition link between a resource and a system.

Before you begin: Open a system structure and a resource structure: scope definition links are defined between a resource and two different systems.

Enter the Line Balancing workbench.

About Resource-System Scope

  1. Right-click the resource and select Properties.

    In the Resource System Scope tab in the Properties dialog box, both systems are listed because they are linked to the resource by scope definition links.

  2. Close the Properties dialog box.

  3. Click Delete Resource-System Scope .

  4. Select the resource.

    The Resource System Scope dialog box appears.

    Both System 1 and System 2 are the candidate links to be deleted.



  5. Select one of the systems and click OK.

    The Scope Definition Deletion information box appears. It prompts you to confirm the deletion. Any assigned operations under the selected system will be unassigned after the deletion.

  6. Right-click the resource again and select Properties.

    Only the undeleted system remains displayed in the Resource System Scope tab in the Properties dialog box.
