Opening a Layout

When a 3D shape representation contains a layout, you can open the layout in a 2D window.

Before you begin: Open a 3D shape representation containing a layout.

  • To open the layout in the 2D window, you can either:
    • Click and select Mechanical > 2D Layout for 3D Design.
    • Double-click the Sheet.1 feature in the specification tree.

    The 2D window with its layout is now open alongside the 3D window. It is the active window.
