General
- Style
- Displays all the generative view styles embedded in a layout or a drawing.
Once you assign a generative view style to a view, it is embedded in the layout or the drawing (if not already done). So, to benefit from the new parameters available in a later version of a generative view style, you need to update the embedded version with the latest version of the XML file.
- Update
- Updates the selected generative view style with the latest version of the XML file.
Notes:
- An icon is not displayed for the embedded generative view styles for which there is no corresponding XML file. In this case the Update button is disabled when the style is selected.
- After you update a generative view style, the newer imported version of the generative view style overrides the older version. This may affect the result of views generated from the views using this generative view style.
- If the layout or drawing contains views which use generative view styles other than the ones you update, these views are not affected by the update.
- Delete
- Deletes the selected generative view style from the layout or drawing.
- If one of the selected generative view styles is used by at least one view, then a message is displayed, prompting you to confirm the deletion.
- If you confirm, then all views that refer to this generative view style are disassociated from it and no longer refer to any generative view style.
- Clean-up
- Deletes the embedded generative view style(s) that are not used by any view in the layout or drawing.
Indicates that the related style is embedded. Indicates that the related style is embedded but not applied to any view.
