Hiding the Mesh

You can hide the mesh to ligthen its visualization during the manipulation or modification of the subdivision surface.

Before you begin: Create a 3D shape containing a subdivision surface.

  1. Click Modification .

  2. Click the subdivision surface.



  3. Click Mesh View .

    Tips:
    • You can also access this command by pressing CTRL+ALT+X.
    • It can be accessed anytime during the manipulation or modification.

    The icon turns into and the visualization of the subdivision surface is lightened:

    The mesh is shown again during a selection or at the end of the manipulation.
